In Jasper Johns painting there’s a distance emotional connection to each one of his paintings. He has an intriguing way of bringing his subject to the forefront by allowing each work to stand on its own. His gestural styles evoke attention an away that further accentuates the each individual pieces through his uses of brushstrokes. Likewise, this allows each brushstrokes to keep its identity without smearing into each other. Johns stated that, “painting should included more experience than simply intended statement.” He believes that it should be a fact that one can experience it as one chose. In conclusion, Johns stated that everything changes according to something and tried to have an open mind that will allow things to change.
